All animals are sold AS-IS. I do not guarantee they will win show ribbons, produce as they do on my property and management, or mesh well with buyer genetics. 

 

All animals are sold on a first come first serve basis. I unfortunately do not end up with enough available animals (especially senior does/milkers) to keep up with demand. The best way to get a doe from me is to message me periodically throughout the year and keep watch on my personal and farm page on Facebook. I apologize for any inconvenience.

RESERVING A BUCK FROM A BREEDING:

When reserving your unborn Sunrising kid, I do not require a deposit as of March 2025. It is so difficult to ensure how many kids will be born or what gender, that I now just take a list and go in order of who contacted me first. After the kid is born, I will contact you on the same media you messaged me on. If you do not reply in 48 hours your request is void and kid will be offered up elsewhere. If you do want your kid, you will have 2 weeks to either pick it up yourself or arrange transport. I just do not have the facilities to keep all babies for long durations. I am very open to working with buyers and trying to get kids to you! If the time frame needs extended, I don't have any issue doing so as long as there is a valid reason.

DOE KID SALES:

I have found it works best for my herd to not offer doe reservations. I am a small herd of 20 or less animals so usually don't have a ton available in the first place! I also prefer to judge the doe kids as they are born to determine who stays or leaves, even if I have an idea of who to keep prior to being born.

RESERVING A LIVE ANIMAL: 

When an already born animal is being bought, I do require a $100 deposit to hold them. I typically don't offer a certain time frame of pick up and just go with a case-by-case basis.

TRANSPORTATION:

I leave transporting decisions up to the buyers. I do not typically stay updated with transporter routes, so buyers need to find their own or make trips themselves. During the Summer, I will usually offer to transport animals to shows I'm already attending.

If you are picking your kid up yourself, due to time constraints, I am no longer offering flexibility with pick-up times. If you will be more than an hour late than the agreed time, you will not be able to pick up your animal that day unless I state otherwise. I have a very demanding work schedule and am not always available when others are. You will have two more times to reschedule and get your kid picked up before I will move on to the next buyer and your deposit is forfeit. PLEASE BE ON TIME!!!

DNA & REGISTRATIONS:

I typically leave paying for registrations and DNA typing up to the buyers. If you are more comfortable with me sending off the DNA and doing the work, it is an extra $75 added to the original kid cost. This covers the DNA cost, registration and transfer costs. Please specify when you reserve your kid if you would like this option so I can get it done as quickly as possible.

ANY ARISING ISSUES:​

If by any reason your animal is not sound for breeding (With proof), I will offer a replacement kid worth the same value, or you can wait until the following year for a replacement out of the same dam.

I will not take back any animals after they have left the farm due to biohazard safety. That is final. I am happy to help diagnose & treat it, but I will not be responsible for any issues the animal has in your care. I will not replace an animal you lost due to incorrect care or management. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my management or feeding routine.
