As a very minor hobby with a goal of mostly enjoyment and entertainment, I do breed Call Ducks and bantam Cochin chickens!

Call Ducks are very vocal with a big personality, but I really do enjoy having them on the farm! I usually have one or two clutches that my hens will hatch and I offer them available. I only keep 3-4 ducks on the property, so do not keep back very many!

In my barn are the Cochin bantams. They are a free range "clean up crew" for the grain my goats spill or leave in their feed pans. They also seem to lay like crazy so I never run out of eggs! These Cochin bantams are the most friendly chickens I have ever owned, I just love their sweet personalities. I will likely be hatching chicks in the future even if I only keep a few of them like the ducks, so stay tuned! My Facebook is always up to date, so feel free to watch for any posts on there.
